The Wooldridge commitment to build the best go-anywhere boats for sportsmen began almost 100 years ago with the innovative spirit and passion for the outdoors of company founder Glen Wooldridge (1896-1986).

It was 1915 when the avid fisherman, hunter and explorer took $6 of cedar and with a friend built that first Wooldridge Boat. The duo ran Oregon’s Rogue River from Grants Pass to Gold Beach. It was a first, none had done it before. Glen was just 19 and that adventure launched a career, and a boat building company.

Mind you Glen was a great boatman and fishing and hunting guide, but he was an innovative boat builder first, blazing a trail in designs and features. He planted that seed in his son Bob, for an operation that is now four generations old, with Grandson Glen, President of Wooldridge and his son Grant, building and running boats and catching fish.
The Wooldridge boat lineup selection now includes outboard and inboard jets and outboard prop models ranging from 16’ to 27’. Windshield boats, open boats, cuddy cabins, rescue and fish and wildlife boats are all available. You can check out many of the models and options on this website. Call us or email if you have questions, or visit your local dealer.

We have to believe "Grandpa" is proud of it all. He would find great favor with the outboard jet tunnel, large two-piece walk-thru windshield, forward walk-around and numerous features aimed at helping you enjoy the very best of fishing, hunting and On-the-Water Excitement.
